Improve Learning Environment

Furniture enhances the learning environment, and can support increased student achievement and performance. In order to provide a productive and comfortable learning environment for all students, the district looks to:

  • Replace outdated, worn, inflexible furnishings in classrooms, libraries, offices and other collaborative spaces at 45 schools and select district facilities.
  • Provide new furniture options and choices for students and staff that support different types of learning and teaching approaches.
  • Provide and support sustainability through long-term durability, reduced maintenance needs and reduction of waste.
  • Replace outdated furnishings that are no longer in production for replacement pieces at 45 schools and select district facilities.
