Expand Career & Technical Education

Projected Cost: $51.0 million

Career and technical education (CTE) exposes students to different career pathways, but the district currently has a waitlist with 178 students who want access to those programs. The district wants to expand CTE offerings by expanding facilities. The district looks to:

  • Add an additional 24,000 square feet of educational space on 3.35 acres west of the existing FutureForward at Washington Square campus, which the district already acquired.
  • Rebuild Thornton High School to expand the existing FutureForward at Bollman campus.
  • Convert existing space to up to two career and technical education classrooms at all middle and K-8 schools.
